Melt is more than a brand. It is probably the most important message a ski brand can promote: The glaciers are melting and we need to protect them. Every Melt Ski is a reminder that nature is fragile and that we have to respect it, if we still want to enjoy happy powder days in the seasons to come.

Proudly no waxing.

We like it natural. That’s why we use a Nivylen Nano Carbon base for our skis that doesn’t need waxing anymore. It combines the latest know-how in nanotechnology and thermoplastics. The result is a molecular compound that lets you glide like a hot knife through butter without leaving any artificial wax-traces behind.

When it comes to selling our skis we are pretty straight forward. There are no distributors and no retailers. There’s just our Online Shop. The only middleman we need, is the postman that delivers your order. This saves you a lot of extra fees and gives you direct access to the best Melt support there is: us. Because nobody knows our skis better than we do.
When it comes to production the idealistic vision of Melt materialises. Produced in Europe with woods from local forrests every Melt ski is crafted sustainability. A high quality product built with the ressources from the region and the latest technology developed with professional partners right in front of our doorstep.
